I made some changes to the update process, which worked fine for a while. Naturally it failed catastrophically in the middle of exams. It also dragged the main site down with it, although that was fixed by severing the wordpress+gallery link. I don’t have time to deal with another project right now so the gallery is down until further notice.
[EDIT] The gallery has been erased as the problem could not be repaired with simple tinkering. No pictures have been lost (remember: always keep a fresh backup!). I’ve decided to wait until Gallery 3 comes out, which should be fairly soon.

I’m making some extensive changes to the gallery, so it is currently down. [EDIT] Everything is back up now.

Hey everyone,
I obliterated my website by accident while experimenting with something new. No worries, I had a relatively recent backup, but some of the posts have to be re-added one by one (oh boy). Everything should be fine soon.
[EDIT] Okay, all the posts are back up. The final damage tally:
- All of the embedded photos from my gallery are broken… again. Ugh! I need to find a better permalink solution.
- 3.5 years of unbroken “About page” continuity broken. That’s where I document what I do with my site. Crud.
So far that’s it. Not so bad!
