Updates
Hey everyone,
I’ve received grief about my sporadic blogging, so here’s some news. As mentioned in a previous post all my services were outdated, although the only one that required immediate attention was the (phpBB2) Forum. Although I said that none of them were serious, I lied (it seemed unwise to mention a fairly serious security flaw). As for the rest, I have just completed updating of this (WordPress) blog and am almost done with the gallery (Gallery2). There’s a nifty WordPress plugin for embedding the gallery right here in the blog, I’m going to install that and see if it’s any good. The Wiki, since it is almost empty, I plan on just dumping and reinstalling from scratch (it’s good practice, since I’m rusty).
As for future work… Well, I’d like to give the site a facelift. I had long hoped to find ways to automatically translate the full content of my site to French, but the task is daunting and some of the services have mediocre translations. Unfortunately I think I’ll have to discard that particular goal, at least for now.
