Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since my last update. It has been insanely busy here for the past while, because of the basement finishing and a few other unpleasant things I don’t care to go into. The basement now has walls which are plastered. They did the electrical rough-in as well and we purchased some nice light fixtures. Tomorrow they’re coming over to do the primer for the walls, and presumably in the evening they’ll come back for painting or something. Continue reading “What’s new”

It has been a while since I last discussed University. This summer I’m enrolled in Phil 4150: Professional Ethics. It sounds like it might be dry, but not too bad overall. Professors make or break a Philosophy course anyways, regardless what the summary thing says. Hey everyone,
One of the basement people arrived. He’s drawn all over the floor and has taken measures to make sure everything we designed can actually be done (it can). He’s currently down there chopping the hell out of stuff – it’s very noisy. He’s ripping up concrete for the plumbing. We weren’t expecting them to start today and were shocked when he got here around eight. That’s painfully, painfully early for those of you with the good sense not to wake up before a double digit hour. That means that by the 16th (Friday), or maybe early the following week I will have a basement, and I’ll start moving all my furniture down there. Continue reading “Basement”
