Hey everyone,
I was recently sorting through some of my books, reorganizing my shelves a bit. Out from between the pages of The Complete Sherlock Holmes fell this 11.5 year old receipt from over 7,000km away. I found it amusing to know that on June 21st, 1997 I spent 68 cents on a Three Musketeers chocolate bar at 2070 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu. Today we celebrated my birthday. My parents got me an outrageously comfortable couch. My sister got me a beautiful satellite map of Earth (which adorns the wall above the couch) and a gift card for Chapters, which I’ll probably be using tomorrow or the day after, if they’re open on the 23rd. Hey everyone,
The last time I tried to install “WPG2” – a plugin designed to bridge my WordPress blog and gallery – I ran into piles of trouble with all sorts of settings. Last time I blamed GoDaddy, and an employee pointed out that I was wrong and I felt guilty (sorry!). Hey everyone,
I recently transferred from GoDaddy to BlueHost for my webhosting. My entire time with GoDaddy, one issue really bothered me: I could not increase the maximum file size I was allowed to upload using PHP. Amongst other things this crippled my photo gallery, which has a nice little Applet that runs on my computer to easily upload large batches of pictures. If the picture was larger than 2mb, I would receive an error message and there was no way to put it on my site besides reducing the quality. I found that unacceptable. Hey everyone,
A minor problem with my email caused by the host transfer (and my own forgetfulness) has been fixed. If you sent me something yesterday but it didn’t work: sorry, try again. Now pretty much all that’s left is to put everything back up on my gallery. Luckily it requires no work on my part, merely letting the desktop application run in the background.
